Catered Lodge Parties

What kind of parties do you have at the farm?

We have Weddings, company parties, reunions, birthday parties, mystery tours, quinceaneras, Christmas parties, dances, church outings and much more.

What kind of catering do you offer?

We specialize in BBQ meats and farm fresh salads, much of which is produced on the farm. We also feature many ethnic meals along with vegetarian dishes.

What is all included in a catered party?

Your group receives an all you can eat meal (two meats and three side dishes) complete with drinks of lemonade, ice tea, coffee, and water for the duration of the party, and the Lodge rental for six hours.  Sodas, juices, and mixers are available at $1 per person for all night, or $1 per drink.  Prices are by the person for our parties, $26 a person for a party of 75-100 people, and $25 a person for a party of 101 people and up.

Does the Ranch provide alcoholic beverages?

Yes we can provide keg beer ($250 for domestic, $300 for craft beer and import), frozen margaritas ($50 to rent the machine for the night, and $175 to fill the machine, about 100 9 oz. drinks), wine ($40 per box), and mixed drinks ($5-$6 a drink depending on the alcohol choice).  You can decide to do any portion of the bar as a cash bar, which is no cost to you, we would just charge the guests by the drink.  Cash bar prices are $4-$5 for beer, $4 for margaritas, $4 for glass of wine, $5-$6 for mixed drinks.

Can we bring in our own catering?

No we don't allow outside catering, but will allow you to bring in cake and non perishable food items.

How many hours do we get at the facility?

Your group will get the barn for six hours starting when your guests begin to arrive. Additional time can be arranged for $250 per extra hour, or if the party goes past midnight its a $250 charge.

Can we get married at the farm?

Absolutely, we have four different ceremony areas and have even had ceremonies at our Pirates Cove area. Our picturesque and beautifully landscaped farm makes for a great backdrop for your wedding photos. The cost for an outdoor ceremony complete with chairs and set up for our larger lodges (Western Barn, and Buena Vista lodge) is $300, and for our smaller lodges (Frontier Room, and Hungry Moose Lodge) is $150. You can also get married inside the facility that your party rents for no charge, you would just be responsible to set up the chairs, and move tables accordingly. We do have people that can help with this at an additional charge.

Can we have a rehearsal dinner at the Ranch?

Yes, we offer rehearsal dinners on Thursday nights and sometimes Fridays. For rehearsal dinners we realize that the 75 person minimum is alot of people, so on Thursdays we can reduce the minimum to 50 people. The rehearsal dinners are the same cost structure as all the other parties, but we can do a more modest meal for less money, please inquire with us for these options.

Can we come before the party to take pictures?

Yes, the wedding party and family can use the facilities the day of the party with no extra charge. The 6 hour time allotment starts when your guests begin to arrive, and ends when everybody is out of the building, including decorations and the D.J. or band.

When can we come and decorate for our party?

The day of the party at 8 am is when we tell people they can come decorate. The reason that the facilities aren’t open to decorate the days before is because we have to leave it open for other parties. Sometimes we let people in a day early if we have no parties scheduled for that day. We only decide this the week of the party, in case there is a last minute booking, and we always reserve the right to book a party for that day.  It is $100 to decorate early, this is to cover electricity for lights and ac/heater as well as someone unlocking and locking the barn when finished.

What kind of decorating can we do?

Anything that doesn’t damage the walls and materials of the buildings is ok (no nails, tacks, or tape that damages sheetrock). We do not allow any removal of our decorations and seating without our approval, and ask that you take any of your items that you wish to keep the night of the party. The Ranch also does not allow burning candles or helium balloons.

Can we bring in items to personalize our event?

Yes you can customize your event by renting round tables, tablecloths, glasses, plates, and silverware, and whatever else you desire. Please note that the Ranch can’t be held liable for any of these items, and some items require an extra charge if any labor is involved.

What activities can we do while our party is going?

The great part about the Ranch is that we have an outside area for each building where your group can enjoy a campfire and fresh air in the country. We also have play areas for the kids, animal corral, scenic farm areas and hayrides are available.

How many lodges does the Ranch have to rent?

We have five : the Western Barn, Buena Vista, the Frontier Room, the Hungry Moose Lodge and our Kicking Horse Cafe and Pavillion.

What's the seating capacity of your lodges?

The Western Barn seating capacity (225-375+) with a guaranteed minimum of 225.

Buena Vista Lodge seating capacity (125-225) 125 minimum

The Frontier Room seating capacity (75-130) 75 minimum

Can we bring alcohol? No, we do not allow any outside alcohol. Our farm has a liquor license. We only serve keg of beer, no bottles or cans are permitted.

What kind of music can we have at the Ranch?

We have D.J.'s that we can recommend, or you can bring in your own DJ, hire a band, or rent our DJ system. We do chargre a $100 service fee for the D.J. or a Band to come in, this is an Electrical/liability fee.

How far in advance should we reserve the facility?

Usually weddings are reserved 6 months to a year in advance (especially Saturdays), check with us for availability. If you are flexible on the date or day we can usually accommodate those parties with a short notice. Ask about our Friday and Sunday incentives with the exception of Holiday Sundays (Labor & Memorial Day).

What does it take to reserve a barn?

First check with us on availability, and then we ask that you fill out a contract and worksheet and also put a deposit down. The worksheet and contract can be found on the Catered Lodge Parties page and can be printed and sent to us with a deposit. The deposit for our larger lodges, the Western Barn and the Buena Vista Lodge is $1250, and for our smaller lodges, the Frontier room and the Hungry Moose Lodge is $750. This deposit is used towards your final bill.

Can we schedule a time to look at the facilities?

Let us know when you can come out and we would be happy to show you the facilities. Check out our contacts page and contact us. You can give us a call @ 402-661-4786 or email us at info@bellevueberryfarm.com

Are your facilities handicap accessible?

Yes all the barns and bathrooms are wheelchair and handicap accessible.

Do you have plenty of parking?

We have plenty of parking next to each Lodge, please follow our Lodge signs, which also has your parties name on, for directions to your parties & barn. Also make sure that you include in your invitation the name of the Lodge that you rented for your guests. We have four different Lodges, and sometimes four different parties the same night, so this is important for them to find your party.

What kind of deals do you have?

Not sure. Ask us what we've got going on.

When is payment due for our party?

A non-refundable deposit is given when you reserve a building. The remainder of the balance will be paid by check, credit card (3% service charge), or cash at least one week prior to the party when a final headcount and menu is decided. If there are any extra changes, for example an extra keg of beer, or last minute appetizer, we will make a bill to be paid the night of the party.

What happens if we have to cancel?

Our contract states that we have a non-refundable deposit and more importantly that the balance of the agreed about party will be paid in full if the party is cancelled within 90 days of the scheduled date. The reason for this is we lose the ability to book another party on such short notice.
